Towards Achieving Corporate Entrepreneurship Competencies of Employees in Ghana: Background Characteristics in Perspective

Introduction: This study, sought to assess the effects of age, education, years operation and gender on antecedents corporate entrepreneurship (CE), self-efficacy desirability, competencies employees.
 Methods: is a quantitative cross-sectional study among 400 employees Small Medium-Sized Enterprises in Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis. Pretested questionnaires were used for data collection. Independent samples t-test one-way ANOVA employed analyse data. Statistical significance was declared at p<0.05.
 Results: There statistically significant difference views male female terms competitive intensity. differences employees’ regarding organisational factors. Also, there between various levels education with regard desirability. Again, results show that highest level has effect their innovativeness, proactiveness, personal competence, initiative risk-taking ability. In operation, relation environmental factors.
 Conclusion: It recommended owners/managers policy makers sector ensure policies which involve promotion intrapreneurial are properly implemented devoid age biases enable larger proportion population get also have opportunity acquire needed knowledge, skills competencies.
